Where to watch the opening ceremony of the 2026 Winter Olympics online today: broadcast schedule

On Friday, February 6, the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games will take place at the famous San Siro stadium in Milan, where Ukraine will be represented by 46 athletes in 11 sports.

Parallel shows will take place in other clusters – in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Livigno and Predazzo. The star guests of the opening ceremony, which will last about two hours, will be Mariah Carey, Laura Pausin and Andrea Bocelli.

As you know, the flag of Ukraine at the opening of the 2026 Olympics was entrusted to short track athlete Elizaveta Sidorko (in Milan) and skeleton athlete Vladislav Geraskevych (in Cortina d'Ampezzo).

We would like to add that 2,871 athletes from 93 countries (including 20 “neutral” athletes from Russia and Belarus) will compete at the 2026 Olympic Games from February 6 to 22. 116 sets of medals in 16 sports will be contested in the arenas of Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo.
