On Saturday, January 31, the Ukrainian futsal team, which lost to Armenia in the group (1:2), and also defeated Lithuania (4:1) and the Czech Republic (5:3), will play a quarterfinal match of the European Championship against the French team in the Latvian capital, Riga.
VIDEO OF THE DAY
In the past years, the “yellow-blue” and “tricolor” have crossed paths with each other five times. Twice success favored Ukraine, three times a draw was recorded, and once France won. In particular, Oleksandr Kosenko's wards were stronger than their opponents in the last two meetings – 7:1 in the match for the “bronze” of the 2024 World Cup, as well as 3:1 in a recent sparring match.
In the upcoming match, bookmakers see the Ukrainian national team, which is ranked 8th in the FIFA ranking, as a slight favorite. For example, the betting office accepts bets on the victory of the “yellow-blue” team in regular time with odds of 2.08, on a draw — 4.33, and on the victory of the French team, who played in a draw with Croatia (2:2) in the group, and also defeated Latvia (5:0) and Georgia (3:1), — 2.50.
The Ukraine-France match will be broadcast live (starting at 5:00 PM) by the MEGOGO media service and the free-to-air MEGOGO Sport TV channel, which broadcasts on T2 and cable networks.
