
Ukrainian national team forward Vladyslav Vanat, who scored against Mallorca on his birthday, became the hero of the match of the 19th round of the Spanish championship between Espanyol and Girona (0:2), scoring both goals for the visitors.

The former Dynamo Kyiv player played the entire match in the Catalan derby and scored twice with accurate penalty kicks against the Barcelona team – in the 45th + 3rd and 90th + 3rd minutes. Another Girona legionnaire, Viktor Tsygankov, was substituted in the 82nd minute.
By the way, Ukrainians scored their team's last seven goals in the Spanish championship: Vanat – 4, Tsygankov – 3.
In total, Vanat scored his 6th goal in La Liga, surpassing Artem Kravets. Only Viktor Tsygankov (17 times) and Artem Dovbyk (24) have scored more Ukrainians in the Spanish championship.
