Katie Taylor to Reunite with Amanda Serrano in Madison Square Garden Trilogy

Katie Taylor will face Amanda Serrano in a third bout at the famous Madison Square Garden in July.

The Bray-born boxer will once again defend her super lightweight titles against a Puerto Rican opponent she last defeated in a rematch in Texas last November.

The fight will be the main event of a women's card in New York City on July 11, with Netflix getting the rights to stream it live.

Their first fight in April 2022 made history as the first women's fight to headline MSG, earning worldwide recognition and winning Sports Illustrated Fight of the Year and The Ring Event of the Year titles in 2022.

Their rematch at AT&T Stadium in November 2024, which aired on Netflix, set records by averaging 74 million viewers worldwide, becoming the most-watched women's sporting event in U.S. history and was named the 2024 Women's Fight of the Year by ESPN, Sports Illustrated, and Boxing Scene.

Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, co-founders of Most Valuable Promotions, have secured exclusive promotional rights to the fight.

“I want to thank everyone at Matchroom, MVP and Netflix for their support in taking the trilogy to the next level, and I can’t wait to headline MSG again in July,” said Katie Taylor.

“I'm 2-0 against Amanda, but it's definitely a very unique rivalry that comes out every time we step in the ring, so I think the trilogy is worth it. The atmosphere at the first fight was amazing, and I'm sure it will be just as exciting this time. The crowd at the last fight in November was incredible, so I hope all those people want to see the trilogy and we can put on another great fight.”
