David and Victoria Beckham and Brian May are among the stars sending their support to communities devastated by the raging fires in the Los Angeles area.
Many have praised the firefighters trying to contain a series of deadly blazes which have destroyed many structures, including the homes of TV personality Paris Hilton and Oscar-winning songwriter Diane Warren, and caused thousands of people to flee their homes.
Gavin And Stacey star James Corden, British singer Suki Waterhouse and English actress Kate Beckinsale were among those to share resources on how to seek help for those affected.
Former England captain David Beckham, who played for the Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy for five years, said Los Angeles was such a “special place” for his family.

“Sending all my love and please support organisations helping on the ground.”
His wife Victoria described the devastation and loss caused by the fires as “truly heart-breaking” and said her “thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected”.

“We lost Taylor and Griffin’s studio with every instrument and piece of equipment they’ve ever owned. We lost our garage and back house.
“Everyone we know lost everything. Every house on our street is gone. My in laws. My brother and sister in law – six weeks from welcoming their first baby. Our best friends.”
Moore said she was feeling “weird survivors’ guilt” but they would do “everything” they could to “help rebuild and support” their community.

He added: “Am obviously concerned about my own house in Beverly Hills, as the fires get worryingly closer, but right now my thoughts, prayers and heartfelt sympathy are with all those who’ve already suffered terrible loss.
“And with all the heroic firefighters working so hard, at great personal risk, to tackle this horrendous disaster.”
English actress Patsy Palmer said her “heart is broken” and “brain is fried” watching the destruction after she left Los Angeles for work in the UK over the weekend.
“My family are safe but lots of my friends have lost their homes again which is extremely traumatic,” she added in an Instagram post alongside a photo of the blazing fires.
