Moscow (Sputnik) – the humanitarian operation in the Syrian Eastern ghouta has not stopped, despite the recent missile strike of the Western States against targets in and around Damascus, the head of the Syrian center for reconciliation, said Saturday.
Earlier in the day, the US President Donald trump announced the military operation in Syria in response to alleged chemical attack in the city of Duma in Eastern ghouta. As a result, Washington and its allies – London and Paris – shoot missiles to the Syrian objects that they claimed were producing chemical weapons.
“The humanitarian operation in Eastern Guta carries on, despite the missile strikes against Damascus by the international coalition,” mayor Yury Evtushenko said.
