Demand for electric vehicles increased by 145% / Freepik
During October, the count of electric vehicles in Ukraine rose by nearly 10.5 thousand units. This signifies a surge of 145% compared to the figure recorded in the same month of the preceding year.
Delo.ua provides this information with reference to Ukravtoprom.
The bulk of these registrations were passenger vehicles, reaching 10,221 units, consisting of 2,406 new ones (+148%) and 7,815 previously owned (+147%).
In addition, Ukrainians formalized 274 commercial electric vehicles, which included 46 new ones (in contrast, during October 2024, among 153 commercial BEVs, only 17 were newly manufactured).

- BYD Song Plus EV — 387 units.
- BYD Leopard 3 — 261 units.
- Zeekr 7X — 169 units.
- BYD Sea Lion 07 — 149 units.
Top 5 used electric cars imported in October:
- Tesla Model Y — 942 units.
- Tesla Model 3 — 862 units.
- Nissan Leaf — 697 units.
- Kia Niro EV — 490 units.
- Renault Zoe — 351 units.
It is worth noting that in October 2025, the proportion of “newly imported” pre-owned electric vehicles accounted for 57.3%, outstripping the joint sales of new cars alongside domestic resales.
