Convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein described Donald Trump as the "dog that hasn't barked" and confided in his one-time associate Ghislaine Maxwell that a supposed victim had "spent hours at my residence" alongside Trump, as per electronic mail records made public Wednesday by House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Democrats.

"I want you to comprehend that that dog that hasn't barked is trump," Epstein penned in a message filled with typos to Maxwell in April of 2011. "[Victim] spent hours at my house with him ,, he has never once been mentioned."

"I have been contemplating that … " Maxwell responded.

That electronic mail exchange — which occurred merely weeks following the release of a series of articles in a British newspaper concerning Epstein, Maxwell, and their influential acquaintances — was one of a trio released by the Democrats out of over 23,000 documents that the committee recently acquired from the Epstein Estate in compliance with a subpoena.

The identities of alleged victims and additional personally identifiable data were obscured from the communications.

The additional recently unveiled electronic mail dialogues transpired among Epstein and author Michael Wolff, who authored four works chronicling the Trump presidency. Wolff stated he conversed extensively with Epstein concerning Trump during his investigative work for the books.

"I hear CNN planning to ask Trump tonight about his relationship with you–either on air or in scrum afterwards," Wolff communicated to Epstein in December 2015, half a year subsequent to Trump’s official entry into the presidential contest.

"If we were to formulate a response for him, what would your recommendation be?" Epstein replied.

"I think you should permit him to incriminate himself," Wolff responded the following day. "Should he declare he has not been aboard the plane or at the residence, that affords you valuable PR and political capital. You might be able to ensnare him, possibly leading to a favorable result for you, or, if it appears he may prevail, you could rescue him, engendering an obligation. Of course, it’s conceivable that, upon being questioned, he’ll affirm Jeffrey is an outstanding person who has been treated unjustly and is a casualty of political correctness, which ought to be prohibited under a Trump administration."

The third communication — exchanged between Epstein and Wolff while Trump was immersed within his initial presidential tenure in January 2019 — seemingly alludes to whether Trump had barred Epstein from membership at Mar-a-Lago some years prior.

"Trump stated he solicited my resignation, never a member ever," Epstein wrote, "Of course he knew about the girls as he asked ghislaine to stop"

The total context of these electronic mail conversations isn’t explicit from the portions divulged by the committee Democrats.

Wolff conveyed during a phone consultation on Wednesday in reference to the 2015 exchange that he could not recall "the detailed emails or their situation, but I was thoroughly discussing his connection to Donald Trump with Epstein at that period. So, I believe this is reflective of that."

"I was attempting to entice Epstein to disclose specifics regarding his bond with Trump at that juncture, and, in truth, he proved to be an exceptionally invaluable informant," Wolff stated. "A component of the context is that I was exhorting Epstein to divulge publicly what he was privy to concerning Trump at that instant."

Allegations of misconduct by Trump aren’t contained within any of the documents previously publicized as portions of civil proceedings or Maxwell's trial.

Trump issued a comprehensive social media update in July, which, in part, blamed Democrats for fomenting debate regarding records tied to Epstein, which he characterized as a "fraud" and "sham."

"Their latest FRAUD is what we will perpetually deem the Jeffrey Epstein Sham, and my FORMER advocates have succumbed to this 'b——–,' hook, line, and sinker," he communicated at that time.

Republicans asserted on Wednesday that Democrats were meticulously curating documents to "generate click-bait" and were suppressing additional documents citing Democrat officials. Republicans declared they were still scrutinizing the papers related to Epstein in an effort to protect prospective victims. They beseeched Democrats to halt the political exploitation of the probe.

"Democrats persist in casually cherry-picking documents to craft click-bait that lacks a factual underpinning," a House Oversight Majority representative informed ABC News.

The spokesperson appended, "The Epstein Estate provided over 20,000 pages of documents on Thursday, and yet Democrats are once more willfully concealing records mentioning Democrat officials. The Committee is thoroughly examining the documents and will disseminate them publicly upon the proper redaction of any victim-identifying data. Democrats should cease exploiting this investigation politically and pivot towards delivering transparency, accountability, and justice for the survivors."

Republicans serving on the Oversight Committee accused their Democratic allies of “attempting to concoct a deceptive narrative to defame President Trump.”

In a social media posting, the Republicans allege that in the 2011 communication amongst Epstein and Maxwell, the Democrats blacked out the designation "Virginia," likely referencing distinguished Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre, who had offered copious public pronouncements regarding her exploitation by Epstein, however, never implicated Trump in any impropriety. The Republicans asserted that the Epstein Estate had not obscured Virginia’s identity when submitting the records to the committee.

"Why did Democrats conceal the moniker when the Estate didn’t redact it in the documents provided to the committee?" the Republicans' posted on X. "This is because this victim, Virginia Giuffre, publicly maintained that she had never borne witness to any transgressions perpetrated by President Trump. Democrats are endeavoring to formulate a fictitious storyline to impugn President Trump. Shame on them."

Giuffre passed away this year, apparently via suicide. Her memoir, "Nobody's Girl," was circulated posthumously in the previous month.

The unredacted electronic mail showcasing Giuffre’s designation was presented to ABC News by Republicans within the House Oversight Committee.

The White House is similarly accusing Democrats on the House Oversight Committee of circulating "selectively disclosed emails to the progressive media outlets to devise a spurious account" of President Trump– pointing towards the fact Democrats obscured the name of Giuffre, "who repeatedly avowed that President Trump was not complicit in any malfeasance whatsoever and “couldn’t have been friendlier” towards her in their infrequent interactions," press secretary Karoline Leavitt declared in a communique to ABC News.

"These narratives are solely ill-intentioned schemes to detract from President Trump’s watershed accomplishments, and any judicious American discerns through this deception and apparent distraction from the government’s restored functionality," Leavitt further contributes in her proclamation.

The electronic mail release coincides with the day that House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., is arranged to inaugurate Representative-elect Adelita Grijalva, an Arizona Democrat who prevailed in a special election the prior month.

Upon being inaugurated, Grijalva is anticipated to issue the ultimate signature on a discharge request to compel a vote on a House bill mandating that the Department of Justice liberate the government's complete investigative files pertaining to Epstein.

The most proximate that ballot may occur is the primary week of December, subsequent to the Thanksgiving interlude.

"The Department of Justice must wholly release the Epstein files to the public at once," articulated Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., the foremost Democrat on the Oversight committee, which is performing an investigation into the federal government's administration of the probes into Epstein.

"The greater the degree to which Donald Trump endeavors to conceal the Epstein files, the more we expose. These emergent emails and correspondence incite glaring inquiries concerning what else the White House is concealing and the essence of the relationship linking Epstein to the President," Garcia declared.

Controversy surrounding the Epstein records has dogged the Trump administration since the DOJ — via an unsigned announcement previously this year — communicated that the department would not be releasing its documents publicly, despite prior assurances of transparency issued by members of the Trump administration.

The pronouncement indicated that the government had not discovered evidence of a "client directory" or trustworthy evidence that "Epstein coerced prominent individuals as part of his actions."

The Oversight committee issued a bipartisan subpoena to the DOJ in August for all records relating to Epstein and Maxwell.

Thus far, the DOJ has furnished merely a sliver of the documents and alternative evidence amassed by federal investigators over the breadth of multiple investigations into Epstein’s purported international sex-trafficking operation.

It remains undetermined whether the electronic mail dialogues provided by the estate to the committee are also under the jurisdiction of the DOJ.

President Trump divulged that he had not engaged in conversation with Epstein in 15 years after Epstein’s 2019 arrest. Trump asserted previously this year that he terminated his connection with Epstein in the early 2000s upon determining that Epstein and Maxwell had purportedly been poaching personnel from Mar-a-Lago.

Epstein committed suicide in 2019 awaiting proceedings on accusations of trafficking young women and girls.

Maxwell, who has steadfastly rejected any wrongdoing, is presently serving a two-decade prison term in Texas for child sex trafficking and allied transgressions associated with Epstein.
